Thread | Capron
The capron is 100 gr per pack.
So what is Capron? Nylon fibers have increased wear resistance characteristics: they have a high wear threshold, bending deformation, compression and stress in dry and wet form. They also have increased resistance to solvents and chemicals such as alkalis. However, they have low stability when interacting with concentrated acids, dissolve in cresol as well as phenol. Nylon is sensitive to high temperatures, becomes soft at 175 C and melts at 215 C.
One of the main advantages of kapron over other fibers (including natural) is its strength. For example, nylon is stronger than silk. However, it has other characteristics:
- Еlasticity.
- Рesistance to deformation.
- It is very light.
- Рesistance to moisture and water.
- Рesistance to pollution.
- Лong service life.
