ANSWER Casting PE X16 is a premium 16-strand braided line designed and manufactured by Gosen Japan to provide maximum casting distance when fishing.

For more than 70 years, the Japanese brand Gosen designes PE lines for specific types and techniques of fishing. The ANSWER range is specially designed for saltwater fishing, and the Casting X16 model is focused on casting fishing, therefore it combines high density and an impeccably smooth surface, guaranteeing incredibly long casting distances.

ANSWER Casting PE X16 is an extremely fine, dense and strong braided line. Gosen's 16-strand braided lines are denser and have a smoother surface than 8-strand because they are made of twice as many strands with a smaller diameter and there are 30% more pitches. This improves the stability of the structure, increases strength and results in a superbly smooth surface, which is a prerequisite for very long casting distances. Gosen's unique "SG processing" creates a firm line with uncompromising sensitivity and operability, while the pink color provides excellent visibility whether fishing during the day or at night.
